If we want to get more from our data and AI systems, and if we truly want to get machines to become more intelligent, we need to bridge that gap with at least some understanding of those patterns. Project Management Power Skills
PMI (Project Management Institute) identifies “power skills” as essential interpersonal and leadership skills that complement technical project management abilities. These skills are critical for effective project management. And, these skills compliment the soft skills needed for AI, and genAI, success. In this episode Rich discusses what power skills are. These skills include: leadership, communication, collaborative intelligence, adaptability, and problem solving skills.
Understanding Layer of AI
Machine reason is the concept of giving machines the power to make connections between facts, observations, and all the magical things that we can train machines to do with machine learning. Rich explains why we aren’t yet here and what is needed to get to understanding in AI systems. Rich shares how these ‘Power Skills’ contribute to project success. He also shares AI’s impact the project management profession.
