A statistical approach that aims to create a function to predict a specific number or relationship between input data and output data. Regression is a statistical and mathematical technique to find the relationship between two or more variables. In the case of machine learning, regression algorithms are used to determine continuous values rather than classify data into one or more categories or cluster data into groups.
