In machine learning, the algorithmic line that differentiates data into different logical sections. Decision boundaries are used for classification, with data being defined in different categories depending on which side of a line the data is placed. Decision boundaries can be simple in the case of simple machine learning approaches or complicated in the case of neural networks and more sophisticated approaches.
