The Cross Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) is a methodology for data-centric projects that consists of six main phases: Business Understanding, Data Understanding, Data Preparation, Modeling, Evaluation, and Operationalization. CRISP-DM has not been maintained or significantly updated since its first release in 1999. The CPMAI methodology improves on CRISP-DM and is more widely adopted for AI projects.
