Enterprises are increasingly incorporating AI into many aspects of their daily business. And, with this, the project professional is increasingly using AI for a number of tasks. From AI chatbots, to predictive analytics, to generative AI applications that help automate project management duties such as project documentation, meeting minutes, or report generation, the use of AI among project managers is growing. In this podcast hosts Kathleen Walch and Ron Schmelzer share various ways AI is being used by project managers.
Indeed, when it comes to project management tasks, AI is best applied where there are needs for machines to provide automation, assistance, or augmentation of human abilities in key areas across the Seven Patterns of AI. These patterns include conversational and natural language needs, recognition applications, patterns and anomaly detection, predictive analytics and decision-support, autonomous activities and intelligence-assisted automation. They also include hyperpersonalization and recommendation, scenario optimization and goal-driven systems.
In this podcast we discuss how AI in being applied in a number of ways. For instance, this includes applying AI for planning and resource management. Also how AI is being used to help PMs with communication and collaboration. We also discuss ways AI is being applied for decision support and quality assurance as well as project monitoring and reporting.
