In this episode of the AI Today podcast hosts Kathleen Walch and Ron Schmelzer interview Erwin Gianchandani, Deputy Assistant Director, Computer and Information Science and Engineering at National Science Foundation. He discusses some of the projects that the NSF has funded. He also shares his insights on some of the ways the federal government is helping to upskill and reskill the workforce, some of the unique opportunities the public sector has around AI, and areas where he’s seeing AI effectively being used in the federal government.
